Now that I know how easy and how much faster it is to use the bus, I've been riding it when I've been going to the City Centre. I really like it, so I may buy a 5 day bus pass. It sounds like a pretty good deal to me since each day I go in and back it costs 3.60 pounds and a 5 day pass is about 13 I think.
First I went straight to Clarendon Centre, which is the mall here. I knew there was an electronics store inside and that they had Flip Video cameras and my dad told me I could buy one while I was here so I had to go check them out. They had one left so I snatched it up (Thanks Dad!) although it took about an hour to get any service and the guy helping me knew next to nothing about it. I had to point out where I thought the box was.. maybe they should hire me for the next 2 weeks.
After getting my camera and realizing that they aren't charged straight out of the box, I did some clothes shopping. The Zara here was pretty amazing, everything was so cute. But I only bought a coral silk tunic (surprise, surprise I bought something coral and silk). I looked in the Gap because they're having a big 50% off sale but they didn't really have anything I was interested in.
Then I went to the market, of course. I'm pretty sure I've gone every day I've been here. But this time I stopped at a deli and bought a ham ciabatta sandwich and an iced mocha. It was very delicious; the bread was wonderful.

After my lunch I headed to some of the clothing stores I've had my eyes on. Topshop was first and it was just as amazing as I had hoped. They had tons of cute clothes and great shoes and awesome accessories. I got a ring and a necklace which, in total, was supposed to come to 15 pounds but it only rang up at 10! Score.
Next I ran into the store Next because it started raining a little bit and I wanted to get out and it had more things that I wanted but didn't end up buying. There was a cute blue romper I might go back for and a cheetah print scarf that I kind of need.
On the way home I saw this so British fake silver statue man:
I was really bummed I didn't bring my camera downtown today because there were lots of things I wanted to take pictures of. I'll have to make sure I get back to those things when I do have my camera.
Kelsea and I had Chinese food delivered to the house for dinner tonight.. just like home! And now I'm catching up on schoolwork and trying to work ahead so I can relax more later on.
Look out for the videos that will be popping up now! And a video tour of the house. :)
